Important to know is that the linux objectives/sections have different weights. The weights range between 1 and 8. The higher a section is weighted so the more questions will be asked from this section.

For example in LPI 101 exam "Configure Modem and Sound Cards" section has a weight of 1. So only one to three questions will be asked from this section. The "Package Management" section got a weight of 8 so expect to get a lot of questions from this section.

In each exam around 70 questions are asked. Single choice, multiple choice, correct text and fill in.

Don't rely on the dump sheets alone. About 30 to 40% are not covered by the dump sheets. You will be well-advised if you learn the study guides very good and practice a lot.

If you're good to very good in linux you could make your certificate in 4 or 5 weeks, maybe less. If you're a beginner then you’ll need maybe two months. It depends.
