The C++ compiler shipping with Visual Studio 11 adds heterogeneous platform support through a technology called C++ Accelerated Massive Parallelism. C++ AMP is a data parallel API that enables developers to take advantage of the performance of accelerators such as GPUs for executing their data parallel algorithms.
